Love for nature

What has changed inside me when I started living
abroad is....

Love for nature!! ドキドキ 霧 コスモス わんわん ヒヨコ

When I was living in London,

since our apartment was just
a few minutes walk to the swan pond,

I went to see the swans, ducks, seabirds,
and small birds and feeding them like everyday.
I started to feel affection to them.

And now I am living in Perth,
my love for nature is accelerating! アップ

Many birds visit the terrace of my house
and they are really playful. I feel they have
emotion like human.

Ah, everyday visiter to our terrace,
love birds
had a little cute baby...コザクラインコ

Looks like baby is greish colour and white
on the belly.

Baby is new to the outer world so it was not
afraid of human yet.
I came very close to it but still just kept
sitting on the fence.

I also often see the white butterfly coming
to my terrace. And they are somethimes
come as couple. If they were human,
they must have looked like couple on the beach.
They fly very happily together.

And flower is fully blooming now.
Most of the house plant roses so once
I go outside, I am surrounded by sweet
rose scent. I feel very hear-warmed
when I am walking along the residential area.

Poeple love flowers here in Perth.

And river view also relaxes me a lot.
Last Friday, I met English lady Eileen for
tea chatting. This time we took ferry and
went to the opposite side(South) of Perth.

Eileen told that you can sometimes
watch dolphine here!

Although there's no excitement nor many fancy restaurants
like Tokyo, I am beginning to love the nature here. ラブラブ! すき

It is a big change since I started living here.
Maybe magic of spring? ウフフ

My husband Salih-chan will come back home
tomorrow so I may not be able to update for a while.

Please have a nice week. ニコニコ 音譜

First BBQ (No.3)

How was your Sunday?
Hope you are well rested.

Conversation continues...

They talked about their children.
Their daughter is in high school
and now touring over Western Australia
with solar car. 晴れ 車
It looks like school project to join the
solar car racing and she was chosen as
a member of the project.

I was very impressed high school students
can do such high tech and ecological project.

I don't have driver's licence as I don't feel
necessity to drive(I can go most of the places
by bus, train and taxy) and don't want to take
part in polluting environment.

But if there's any affordable solar car,
(I know there's already solar car but
they are still far above my budget)
I would love to have a driver's license
and drive a car myself.

She also joined NASA camp before.
She must be very scientific smart girl.

Good luck to future youngstar!! フラッグ クラッカー

Then....

They recently started keeping a toy poodle
dog. わんわん

無国籍、多国籍?な日々

His name is

"Prince" 王冠1 にひひ

They feed him real food,
not dog food from the store.

So they wanted to bring BBQ leftover
lamb bones back home.
I tried to pack it in a box but
they insisted just to put in the
shopping plastic bag.

Bone was thrown one after another
in the plastic bag. It didn't look anything
but food trash...

They called us later to invite us back.
We will visit their house 1 month later.
They have a neighber of Japanese woman
married Australian man. So they are trying
to arrange to introduce me to her.
Nice couple...すき

Please have a fresh start of the week tomorrow!

Good night 星

First BBQ (No.2)

Continue to BBQ conversation. 音譜

While Salih-chan and Marek are struggling to grill meat
and vegetable, Margaret and I were talking
overlooking hardworking men. ウフフ

She quitted career as Spanish teacher as she
didn't like laziness of Australian students and
neglect of University not to update any textbook
for 5 years.

Now she is working for Oxfam (it is an organization
to help third world country) as a volunteer organizer.

She was born and grew up in Polland capital Warsaw.
So she has a atomosphere of city woman and very
cultivated.

Like myself, she was also surprised when she came to
Australia to see there's no one walking on the street
and not much shops and restaurants except centre of the city.

I told her that I went to Warsaw when I was student.
She was so happy to hear that! w
But in reality I had very hard time as I don't speak
Polish and they don't understand either English nor German.
I wanted to go to Chopin concert and Auschwitz
but I gave up as I was traveling by myself and couldn't
even order properly in McDonald.

After mens joined in the table, topic became about
Christmas holiday, Salih-chan and I was not thinking
about anything what to do on Christmas holiday.
And actually Salih-chan doesn't want to take any holiday
this year as he wants to go to Turkish military service next year.
Without serving military, he will lose citizenship of Turkey.
But he needs to serve only 1 month if he pays money. お金

One of the reason he wanted to study abroad was to avoid
this service. His father was injured his back during this
military service and since then he couldn't work properly
and family became extremely poor. Of course there's no
conpensation from government. So Salih-chan hated it.

Marek imagined Salih-chan's service won't finish
until Salih-chan will be like this,

I think you don't need to go so far...でしょ?

Next time will be talk about their children.

Please have a relaxed Sunday. マロン アップ

Good night. きらきら!!

First BBQ (No.1)

Good evening, how was your Friday? ワイン

Last Sunday, I held first BBQ party at my house.

My husband Salih-chan wanted to invite Marek.
He is from Polland.

He and Salih-chan were working together at
previous company. When Salih-chan was
transferred to London, he left company and
joined the current one. He was promoted as
manager and had a little bit influence in the
company.

When Salih-chan was fired and came
back to Perth, he was worried about Salih-chan
and recomneded Salih-chan to other colleague
and Salih-chan luckily got a job in the same company
as Marek.

Our everyday peaceful life wouldn't exist without his
kind help. So we decided to make him the first one to
invite to our home.

It was the first BBQ experience for me as a hostess.
But there's not much to do for me because Salih-chan
took part in preparing and grilling meat and vegetable.

All I needed to do was just to prepare appetizer and salad.
BBQ is great way to reduce wife's burdon. I like it! 合格 キャハハ

I made as appetizer,

Melon and pros chute(Italian ham)
Basil & mozzarella & tomato on cracker

How easy to prepare!! ヒョイッ

and cucumber & paprika & tomato salad
(No cooking involved, just cut and put on the plate 音譜)

We bought BBQ using charcoal because gas BBQ doesn't
taste as good as charcoal.

Oh, I made Sangria too.
I cut apple, orange and banana(plus little bit of honey)
and put in the red wine and left in the fridge overnight.

This Sagria brought pleasant result.

Marek's wife Margaret (she is also from Polland)
was Spanish teacher in Polland and also teaching
in University's language course in Australia too.
So she is familiar with Spanish culture and food.
She instantly recognized what I made as Sangria
and she was very happy drinking it.

They brought Gorgeous flower and nice wine.

無国籍、多国籍?な日々

Wine was from Margaret river (it is Western Australian local wine)
And I believe she picked one with the her name on it! GoodJob

Next time will be about conversation with them.

Have a lovely weekned and good rest.

Ciao! 薔薇
